If you have any concerns about the outcome of your fee status assessment, or your immigration circumstances change and you believe that this may affect your fee status, please follow the steps below.
1. Please refer to the UKCISA (UK Council for International Affairs) website for the most up-to-date fee status information.. The 'Home or Overseas' pages provide detailed insights into the assessment process used by UK universities, including the criteria for determining Home or Overseas status. You’ll also find links to the current Fee Status Regulations that underpin the fee assessment process.
2. After reviewing the UKCISA guidance, if you still believe your fee status has been incorrectly assessed, please contact the appropriate University office from the list below to request a review of your fee status. If the office has already reviewed your status, please do not apply for a second review unless your personal circumstances have changed, or you have new documentation that could significantly affect your assessment:
- Undergraduates (applicants and offer holders) at Christ's, Gonville & Caius, St John's, and Lucy Cavendish should contact their College's Admissions Office.
- Undergraduates at all other Colleges should request a fee status review by the central University by submitting a completed Fee Status Assessment Questionnaire and supporting documents (listed in the questionnaire) to feestatusandpolicy@admin.cam.ac.uk.
- Postgraduate offer holders should contact the Postgraduate Admissions Office
- Current postgraduates should contact the central University by emailing feestatusandpolicy@admin.cam.ac.uk.
3. If you are still dissatisfied with the outcome of your review, refer to the Fee Status Appeals page appropriate to your student group.
