If you have any concerns about the result of your fee status assessment, or your immigration circumstances change and you believe that this will affect your fee status, please follow the steps below.
1. Please refer first to the UKCISA (UK Council for International Affairs) website for the most up-to-date fee status information. The 'Home or Overseas' web pages contain detailed information about the assessment process that UK universities follow, including the criteria used to determine whether a student has Home or Overseas status. It also contains links to the current Fee Status Regulations, which underpin the fee assessment process followed by all UK universities.
2. Once you have reviewed UKCISA's guidance, you will need to contact one of the following University offices if you still believe that your fee status has been incorrectly assessed:
- Undergraduates (current and offer holders) should contact their College's Admissions Office to request a fee review
- Postgraduates (offer holders) should contact the Postgraduate Admissions Office to request a fee review
- Postgraduates (current) should contact the Student Fee Status and Policy Officer to request a fee review
3. If you are still not satisfied with the outcome of your review, please refer to the Fee Status Appeals page appropriate to your student group.
